Six Trigonometric Ratios
- Sine = Opposite/Hypotenuse
- Cosine = Adjacent/Hypotenuse
- Tangent = Opposite/Adjacent
- Cosecant = Hypotenuse/Opposite
- Secant = Hypotenuse/Adjacent
- Cotangent = Adjacent/Opposite
As you may already know, numbers 1 and 4, 2 and 5 and 3 and 6 are reciprocals of each other. Remember the sohcahtoa and choshacao! Here is my post for this subject.
Radians and Degrees
Everything you need to know is right here. I'm just too lazy to re-copy it all onto here. :)
The B17
Alright, the way I remember the different quadrants:
So, there are a lot of things to remember about this!
And that is all! Good studying and hope you all do well on the test. :)

The B17
Alright, the way I remember the different quadrants:
- Quadrant #1: Simple; 6, 4, 3 as denominators.
- Quadrant #2: The pattern of denominators to numerators (2,2,3,3,4,5,6).
- Quadrant #3: The second half of the pattern (7,6,5,4,4,3,3,2).
- Quadrant #4: Same denominators as usual (3, 4 and 6) and use the n = 2d - 1 formula for the numerators.
The Sine & Cosine Function
So, there are a lot of things to remember about this!
- Definition
- Remember cos is x and sin is y
- The basic functions:
- y = asinb(x-h)+k
- y = acosb(x-h)+k
- The properties
And that is all! Good studying and hope you all do well on the test. :)
